The event was organized by Annamaria Iezzi and Taste of Science and features background on Maryam Mirzakhani and her work by Dr. Iezzi, a panel discussion, and my talk about the art of abstraction and applying math to real problems.

I attended a workshop at the Banff International Research Station for Mathematical Innovation and Discovery in 2018.
